The allover floral motif of this guipure lace is outlined by a fine cord to create a subtle, textured effect. The alternating high-end cotton, rayon and polyamide threads provide a matte/shiny contrast and intensify the blue tones of its petals and giant flowers for a nuanced effect. This lace, part of the vast Sophie Hallette collection, has the Dentelle de Calais-Caudry label. Heligan can be ordered in cerulean blue (pacific) and ecru.
